Hello there. Thank you for stopping by. I’m Deerga – blogger, amateur food photographer and a loving wife to a total foodie. I love snow, visiting new places, clicking pictures, shopping, cakes, skirts, yoga, dance, DIY stuff, etc, etc. and a huge upma hater.
Like most of you out there I was no wise in cooking before marriage. I made only simple dishes like potato curry, kothu parotta ( I didn’t even know to break the eggs and my mom did that job for me 🙂 ) and coffee. So my mom wrote me a cook book for my future reference. Soon I ran out of recipes and started craving for more (edible cravings 🙂 ) I started searching for recipes online and gradually became passionate about cooking in general.
One fine morning I decided to organize all my recipes since searching them online every time was a bit tedious. My hubby then asked, “Why don’t you share your recipes with others?” And here I am, a food blogger!
My Edible Cravings, as the name suggests, is all about my cravings for different kinds of foods and how they are prepared. All recipes in this blog are tried and tested with my food loving husband 🙂 . And the photographs are my own clicks. Hope this blog serves as a one stop shop for fellow food lovers out there trying out different recipes.
